Construction Site Accidents

Construction Site Accident Compensation Claims

Constructions sites are one of the most dangerous places to work. Statistics from the Health & Safety Executive show that in particular site workers are most at risk from injury whilst lifting, handling or carrying and also from tripping or falling from a height. Another major concern is falling items hitting site workers.

This can be complicated as contractors and sub contractors employed may not be familiar with the site.

Every employee, contractor and sub-contractor should undergo health and safety training and a full induction.

Whilst extensive efforts and vaious laws have been made to protect site workers accidents and deaths whilst on construction sites are still unacceptably high.

However, if the regulations are complied with, the amount of injuries on construction sites should be minimal as they offer full protection for workers.

If accident does occur employers or contractors who have not complied with the relevant regulation will be at fault.
