WORKER INJURED ON ICE ON WAY TO WORK WINS CASE AT TRIAL

Mr M of Birmingham was involved in an accident, which occurred during the course of his employment when he was walking into work when he was caused to slip due to ice build up that had not been gritted by his employers. Mr M suffered a fractured ankle, which fully recovered within 12 months.

Liability for the accident remained denied and the case proceeded to a trial where a judge found in favour of Mr M and was award £4,300 in respect of his injuries.
