Wrist injury from falling boxes

Mr W of Newport, South Wales was involved in an accident, which occurred during the course of his employment when a box fell from a pallet. Mr W put his arm out to stop the box falling on him resulting in a possible fracture to the left scaphoid bone and a soft tissue injury to his left elbow.

Mr W suffered from ongoing problems with his left wrist.

Liability for the accident remained denied however, after obtaining supportive medical evidence from a Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon,
