Mr B wins settlement of £3750.00 through WE Solicitors.

Mr B, a HGV driver, sustained a fracture injury to his toe in April 2011 during the course of his employment.

To gain access to his exhibition trailer he had to use a step ladder. The step ladder was not fitted with rubber feet and nobody footed the ladder. The was also no form of non slip surface provided.

On the day of his accident Mr B climbed the step ladders and gained entrance to the trailer as usual. When leaving the trailer he again used the step ladder as normal but as he put his left foot onto the ladder the ladder fell away and Mr B fell some 5 feet to the ground, landing toes first. Mr B felt immediate pain in his left foot in the region of his big toe. Mr B was in pain for 3 months as a result of his accident, he also experienced difficulties walking and driving.

Mr B employers denied responsibility for his accident.

Despite this, WE Solicitors were able to negotiate a settlement of £3,750.00.

Both Mr B and WE Solicitors are very pleased with the outcome.
